Over The Horizon And Into Paradise

Oh wow, what glorious weather we've had, it's so hot I have to split sitting in the garden into shifts (sad I know) because I'm literally frying out there. Anyway I don't have too much to say today my week hasn't consisted of much really, just chilling at home but hitting the beach sometime this week.

I brought this top from Zara in the sale when I was in Londres a few weeks ago, before my saving began. I do really like it and have only now just got round to wearing it because with the tropical sunset scene and bright lime colour I thought it would be good for the sun, especially as it's sheer too. However from some angles it doesn't look too flattering but it's fine in real life.

Lusting After....

I just wanted to share my love for the new Richard Nicoll collection for Topshop, however they do come at lust worthy price,  ranging from £75-£300. Even if I wasn't trying to save money I still don't think I could part with that money.... however if you do have a special occasion they would be gorgeous, really pretty and delicate but still edgy and something no one would have!

These pictures don't this dress justice, it's a fab lace cocktail dress with bust cups and cross over back. They also have this particular design in a pale pink too. Also if you're wanting something a little longer, the same style dress comes longer with a gentle peplum detail- a dress for everyone.

Bargain Of The Week...

Hi everyone, it feels like I haven't blogged in absolutely forever!  Anyway I'm meant to be saving my money and promised myself that I wasn't going to buy any clothes until the end of August, because I'm trying to save for a car.
But when I was in Topshop the other day I crumbled, I should of know it was inevitable when I walked through the door. On the sale rack for just £12 and with my student discount £10 the Dress Up Topshop mesh insert coral/orange body con dress was calling my name, plus I'm going to this James Bond party in a weeks so thought could justify buying it for this and then wouldn't feel as guilty.

Does anyone else find it so difficult not to spend when you're trying to save and there's so many things you want?

Be Iconic....

To celebrate the launch of the new Dior Addict fragrance which was launched earlier this spring/summer. I thought I'd dedicate this post to the gorgeous Daphne Groeneveld who is the face of the Dior Addict range and after the video popping up on my youtube recommended sidebar, I watched and it is so well put together but really we expect greatness especially from their previous ever so catchy Miss Dior Cherrie campaign. This one definitely didn't disappoint it has the perfect amount of quirkiness and Daphne looks so flawless, I kinda want to be her!! (sorry, should of given a warning for fan girl alert)

Definitely recommend watching it!

 Also at only 16 she has already in her first year of modelling appeared on the front of French Vogue, walked for Valentino, Chanel and the Dior Haute Couture shows as well as being ranked number 8/50 top models, not a bad start to a career if you ask me.

Can clearly see why the fashion industry all want a piece of her, she pulls off this Brigitte Bardot look for the spin on the classic 'And God Created Woman' effortlessly.

Summer Lovin'

This weather is so freaky at the moment and I'm getting appropriate clothing all wrong. When I wake up it's all dull and rainy and then suddenly- boom the rest of the day is scorching, like today I dressed completely wrong. So I wore a jumper and cigarette pants, but was so hot that I couldn't wait to get home and change in to something cooler like this playsuit from Topshop (really old).

Hey y'all today's post is inspired by the fact it's the 4th July meaning of course American Independence Day! Now I don't have really any American inspired clothes, which is surprising because the flag is everywhere. However I did find my LA vest from Primark teamed with my levi shorts (or daisy dukes- just adding some American lingo in) and decided to try and go for the Cali look, but unfortunately don't have that golden tan or any tan for that matter to pull it off:(

In The Style Of Nicole Richie....

Jeans: Ark Clothing

These aztec jeans are in the style of the Isabel Marent jeans, but obviously the Marent ones come at a much heftier price tag! They are also as seen on Nicole Richie with her styling them in all black-oh so chic. I think these would also be perfect for the festivals, especially as this weather is cray!

I purchased these from Ark clothing here simply because they were on sale for £20 but now I think they're even £17.50, however I previously saw them on Missguided but unfortunately the website is being extremely slow so can't post the link but I know they were £34.99 on there, so a bargain on Ark even though it's the exact same jean. To me these jeans are such a good replica of the designer ones considering some high street replicas are sometimes way off, these have got it just right.

I'm off to look at UCL university tomorrow, but really only going for the road trip and day off sixth form as unless my results are some kind of miracle I will never be going. Plus I still am undecided on to even study! Law, English Lit or Fashion- the choice is so difficult! Help!
