Sorry this post was later then expected, hope everyone's had a fab week and made the most of the weather as it seems it hasn't lasted very long; it's been freezing today! I've finished sixth form for two weeks, as its the Easter holidays yaaay, but that means I'm a social recluse for two weeks too as I have mountains of revision for the exams when I go back, that also means I can't go holiday like I was meant too this week :( But I will have more time to blog!! 

Off to my mum's bosses birthday party tomorrow, which is also a tea party, so hopefully there will be lots of delicious cakes! (my biggest downfall) I'll make sure I take some pictures of them

Absolutely Fabulous Fashion Sweetie.....

Absolutely Fabulous is a hilarious sitcom from the 90's set in the world of fashion and PR, unfortunately I didn't appreciate the whole humor of it until I was older, as it was a bit before my time but can remember my mum watching and thinking I like this programme because of its cool name! We have been blessed with three more special episodes this year; Christmas ('yeah gwannin Brixton') if you don't know what I'm talking about there you need to watch the Christmas special if its still available! New Year and most recently and far too brief if I'm honest the Sport Relief episode starring the fabulous Stella McCartney, Kate Moss and David Gandy (swoon)

So let's get down to the fashion darling.....

Pasty:

Famous for the 'Pasty Face' and the Bee-hive hair-This chain-smoking, binge-drinking, drug-taking, foul mouthed fashion director, with ever rising hem lines loves a good two-piece suit- oozing Chanel,sweetie!

Eddy:

Unlike Pasty's more classy and elegant style, Eddy's is somewhat more 'adventurous' which could be one word for it as she certainly is not afraid of committing some fashion faux pas, she could in fact be crowned queen of them!

Could totally see Eddy in some Mary Katrantzou SS12, as she does love her prints maybe a bit too much sometimes, edging on 90's rap McHammer-esque .

Stella McCartney SS/12

Do check it out if you haven't seen it before its fabulous darling! I 100% recommend it and I bet you will see Eddy and Pasty in you and your friends, its bound to happen; especially when you start picking up their  colloquialisms, sweetie

Outfit Post

Really quick post tonight, love this dress from LOVE which is a very appropriate name for this brand as the have some really lovely items and this dress is perfect as I wear it casually in the day but then add some heels and hit the town! Will do the AbFab tribute post this week and hope everyone enjoyed The Voice, I thought it was brilliant loved the whole concept and the judges.

This Weeks Lust List....

 Love this Tweed Boyfriend Jacket from Topshop, it's lightweight too so perfect for spring and would look great over jeans for a casual day look but then pulled over a dress for those summer evenings.

New in at Topshop is this Hawaiian print bralet perfect for when the hot weather finally arrives.

Primark have a great SS/12 collection again this year and here just a taster of what they're offering.

I love these beauties of shoes from Aldo and fit in perfectly with the neon trend!

Another pair of gorgeous heels from Aldo looks like they're hitting the shoes bang on, these were also seen in this months ELLE! Gotta get myself a pair!!

I thought I'd tell you we won the pub quiz yesterday!! Was actually a huge shocker and no one was expecting it, we had the smallest team of 4 girls and was against teacher, parent and other larger teams, but we reigned supreme; keeping our title for the second time after our first triumph at the charity Christmas quiz

Anyway it's sport relief today and I will be donating £5 or whatever the donation is, but it also means AbFab  time!!! And Kate Moss is making a special appearance, which will be hilarious, have missed Pats and Eddy and will have to dedicate a special feature to the genius that is Absolutely Fabulous!

Let Spring Begin....

I ordered this dress from 18 and east a few weeks ago, as I'm starting to get rid of the black and throw some floral's and colour in as the sun is starting to come out and fingers crossed spring is beginning! I thought this was a good start as the strapped back shows some flesh and flesh on show screams summer to me, although am going to have to stock up on some more pastels items, as that is going to be HUGE this SS and is one of my favourite trends.

Apart from my biology exam on Tuesday my week has not been very interesting this week, just the norm (work,work, work) anyone else taking AS/ A levels, GCSE's or anything else will totally agree. I just can't believe my exams are coming round so soon! Anyway I'm off to a charity pub quiz tomorrow evening, so will  let you know if I'm apart of the winning team; will also do another 'Lust list' at the end of the week. So what are you lusting after this week?

Best Beauty Buys This Week...

I am still very much still loving mac's viva glam Nicki Minaj lipstick, I am a big fan of pale pink lipsticks and constantly wear Revlon Pink Pout, so I think this ultra bright pink is gorgeous and will brighten up any outfit!

I also read a great review on mascaras the other day, which was handy as mine is just running out! Benefits new 'They're real!' mascara scored a huge 10/10 so it think I'm going to have to grab on of these out tomorrow and rate it for myself and £18.50 I thought that was very reasonable for a good mascara

Fragrance ; If you don't already have this sent in one shape of form, whether it be the body oil, milk, mist or eau de parfum- then you should! 

Burberry Body is a gorgeous sent and is perfect for making you smell beautiful everyday! It's not one of those powerful special occasion perfumes, instead it's something that is great for everyday use and I would definitely recommend the body mist

For an indulgent body moisturiser, Pearl and Daisy Lowe have collaborated again this time to the support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity with Kiehl's and have redesigned a label for their luxurious classic Creme de Corps. Even though this is £28 you can treat your skin to some indulgence and with every £2 being donated to the children's hospice it makes it a luxury worth investing in!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Hi everyone and Happy Mothers Day to all the lovely Mums out there!! Hope you've day had a fab Mothers Day and treated your mummy's to something special. Mum and I went to this American diner place this morning for breakfast which was rather nice and I brought her the new Sophie Kinsella  'I've got your number' which if I'm honest I can't wait to read, of course after my mums finished with it! She also got 'My Week With Marilyn' but we didn't have time to watch it today:( I really wanted to see it when it was out in the cinema but unfortunately never got round to it, so again thought I'd buy it for my mum as I know she'll like it too!  Plus it has Eddie Redmayne in, (sigh) who is unbelievably GORGEOUS! 

Anyway sorry about that rant, just don't let me get on the subject of Eddie Redmayne. Really casual outfit today, as it is Sunday and all; but I do love these Topshop snake skin jeans which I got in the sale around Christmas time. There the 'leigh' range which I find fit really well and are a lovely soft fabric, which stay soft even after a wash!

Outfit Post;

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a fab week! Just a really quick outfit post, got this dress from ASOS a while ago its just a really cute skater dress,but is much brighter (orange!) than I usually wear, as my wardrobe is practically a merge of blacks, greys, whites and beige's; however I've quite a lot of pink in at the moment and am starting to fill out in some pastels as it's one of my favourite trends this SS12. This summer I'm going to wild with prints too, as I've seen some really cool printed trousers that I want! Here's some of the best 'out there' statement trousers that we all should be owning this summer;

These Topshop Geo print trousers are a must have this summer, whether your teaming the with a plain t-shirt and sandals or dressing them up for a summers evening with heels and a blazer!

River island floral print trousers are gorgeous H&M also do a great pair of floral trousers too and at a cheaper price, great if your a bargain hunter like me!

These Asos paisley print trousers also fit the bill, as paisley is also massive this spring, so whether you go for silk, tailored, palazzo or harem styled make sure you go BOLD this spring/summer and rock some printed trousers!

Reading 2012...

Ok, I won't normally do posts like this but I am just sooo EXCITED, I managed to get tickets to Reading Festival this evening! Probably one of the most stressful things ever! Other than getting 1D tickets, but the adrenaline rush definitely kicks in! Although don't think I could do it frequently would probably have a heart attack or something, the best thing is the massive relief when the ticket company say 'your booking has been successful' and you just think YES  I'm actually going!!

, 

Anyway, with all the festival line-ups practically all announced I'm starting to think (and hope) that summer is on it's way!!! And festival season means some serious shopping and whacking the hunters, short shorts and crop tops along with the hats and other cool head pieces out!

Anyone got any festivals lined up this year too?

Arabian Nights

Finally have got round to doing the Arabian Night post, even though it was like a week ago now! Anyway here it is the outfit; quite simple really should of gone all out with a belly dancer outfit or something instead but instead stuck to highstreet, as I know I'll definitely get lots of wear out of this river island dip hem skirt. There's also some other pics from the night, unfortunately I couldn't stay all night as I had work (bore) the next day, but over all it was a wicked night! Will do another outfit post hopefully tomorrow and best beauty buys this week too :)

 These beasts of wedges are new in at Topshop this week and fit perfectly with the Sport luxe trend, would look great teamed with the white/cream button up midi dress that I'm itching to get my hands on Topshop Wedges. They also have these wedges in a grey for a more toned down, go with anything look.
