Oscars Top 5....

Sunday night the world watched as the daddy of all award ceremonies The Oscars wrapped up award season. The Oscars not only recognizes Hollywood action and beauty on the screen, but also the Hollywood glamour in who's wearing what on the red carpet.
Here's my top five:

I thought Jennifer Lawrence looked gorgeous, dramatic and elegant all an Oscar dress should be. Gorgeous dress by Dior Couture

Another Dior gown, Charlize Theron looked stunning in this structured gown it shows her off amazing figure- Stunning

Naomi Watts was one of my favs, it was so different to the other designs and I thought one of the more riskier dresses with the cut away section which we all want to see at the Oscars, no playing it safe and she had the perfect balance in this Armani Prive dress.

I still can't decide whether I love this Prada dress or not. Anne Hathaway does look gorgeous and elegant and has an Audrey Hepburn air about her and I really want to adore it but I'm not sure.
Amanda Seyfried's dress was another one of controversy, but I love it and it's McQueen, bonus!
But seriously I think the neckline and the embroidery with the sheer bottom is just brilliant, I love.

There were many more fabulous dresses worn by gorgeous people and even more at the after parties (Elton's or Vanity Fair?) however the post would go on forever if I was to post many more and would probably be very boring too, you don't want that.
Have a great week

LFW Eve; Mary Katrantzou

Fashion week is in full force in London this week, but on Thursday evening I went to the Mary Katrantzou showcase thanks to Vodafone and it was amazing! I've always loved her designs but seeing them up close, (front row aaaah to be precise) they looked incredible, I'd happily wear any of them. Anyway, here's some pics:

Who Wore What.....

Awards season is in full swing and last night saw the return of the BAFTAs and across the pond in LA the Grammy Awards. I love watching awards shows not only getting to see beautiful people in beautiful clothes, but also the film and music industries recognizing talent.

Best dressed BAFTAs:
Marion Cotillard looked so stunning in this canary yellow Dior Couture gown.
SJP is one of my favourite celebs, I love her opting for an Elie Saab jumpsuit.
Anne Hathaway looked simply elegant in a studded Burberry dress and congratulations for best supporting actress, her Les Mis performance was incredible.
Jessica Chastain might be the best dressed in this stunning Roland Mouret dress.
Elizabeth Olsen in Chanel, yet another stylish Olsen.

The Grammys:
Rihanna wins best dressed hands down in this breathtaking demure red Azzedine Alaia gown, which is not usually Rihanna's style but she looks gorgeous!
After her amazing performance at last weeks Superbowl, Beyonce was bang on trend wearing monochrome and opted for elegance in Osman.
Alexa Chung, always looks good and this years Grammys was no exception in this floral RED Valentino dress.
Adele made her comeback yesterday, and I love the embroidery on this Valentino Haute Coutre floral gown.

This year had a really good red carpet turn out, who did you think deserved best dressed?

What Do You Wear To Vogue...

I have some mega exciting news, I'm heading to Vogue House- yes actual Vogue headquarters where the fabulous people write the most fabulous fashion magazine!

I cannot express how excited I am, I won the invitation through Vodafone VIP and I never win anything. So basically tomorrow it's afternoon tea, delicious and then a style talk for this season SS13 with the Vogue team and of course I get to bring a friend.

I will fill you in on how it was and I hope it's not the first and last time I visit Vogue!
And second time lucky I'm off to the Mary Katrantzou showcase for LFW next week, so it looks like a good start to February, but the big decision is definitely going to be what to wear?!
Have a great week!

Ash Wedge Trainers...

I do have an outfit post, but I was very reluctant to post it because the photo quality is beyond awful. However I'll post it anyway and will just have to apologize for the graininess and the rabbit caught in headlights look.

Boucle Jacket: Topshop Shorts: Levi, Wedge Trainers: Ash Footwear, Watch: Guess

I'm a big lover of a boucle jacket and with the right one it can look super stylish with practically everything, smart or casual it's a timeless piece and an essential in my wardrobe. Having purchased these Ash Bowie wedge trainers as a pre- Christmas gift to myself I can say that they are the comfiest shoes ever! and I don't usually wear trainers but these are the exception, I love them. Although they are quite pricey for trainers I have worn them to death, as they look good with more items of my wardrobe than I'd imagined. I would definitely recommend them and any of their other shoes, I've already got my eye on a pair of their boots.

You can buy the Ash Bowie trainers here

Have a great week. Ksww, xoxo

Better Late Than Never....

Hello and Happy New Year/ Christmas and everything else I've missed! I'm so sorry I've been away for so long, I didn't even realise it had been quite that long. I have had exams and coursework and other boring school related things, which meant I just haven't had a chance to blog. I know it's bad, but I am back!
This year I'm going to make sure I blog regularly as part of my new year resolutions, I also have some shopping resolutions of the designer side.

I need these in my life this year:

Miu Miu cat eye sunglasses, they have them in some gorgeous colours and I really want them for summer this year. I have never brought expensive sunglasses because I always seem to break them/sit on them somehow, but this year I feel is the time to treat myself.

Alexander McQueen's silk skull scarf is an essential, timeless piece and everyone if you buy something pricey this year make sure it's timeless that way you don't feel too guilty about spending money either, because if you're like me you'll rarely be seen without it and it will be worn to death.

I'm in love with this jacket from prodiga. It has two of my favourite things leather and faux fur. Prodiga are a gorgeous brand with the equally gorgeous Millie Mackintosh as their ambassador, however it comes at a fabulous price too.

Unfortunately the reality of me actually owning any of these items is very slim, but a girl can wish!

I am going to do a whole load of outfit snaps this weekend, ready for some posts.
