Marni for H&M

Yet again another brilliant (and sell out) collaboration from H&M. I thought these Kings of collaborators couldn't do any better after the likes of Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Versace- but they've done it again with Italian brand Marni, famous for its clashing colours and prints and quirky accessories.
I was desperate to get my hands on a pair of the silk trousers, shoes and the cute collar, unfortunately I wasn't queuing along Regent Street this morning like some eager fashionistas  for the 9:00am opening. However I've read that some of these eager beavers had been queuing since 9pm Wednesday! to ensure they got a coloured band for a 10 minute shopping slot.Would have felt like waiting for 1Direction tickets to be released all over again! I have to say though very organised on H&Ms behalf well done on keeping the determined shoppers in control and not causing too much fashion mayhem!

So wanted just one of these!! All would have been lovely but would of been happy with just one item, have to try again next time!

But I do love it when something unexpected pops up in your wardrobe, so thought it deserved a little outing. Wow, all I really have to say is this week has flown by for me this week! Being in Yorkshire for two days, but I must say I was so glad to see Suffolk again. I always moan about living in the boring countryside of Suffolk, but Yorkshire do they ever get any sunshine?! Haworth was a pleasant place with cute little coffee shops but the weather is just so miserable don't think I would survive up there long. Anyway Friday tomorrow TGIF and all have a good friday everyone, I'm off to an Arabian nights themed party so I'll post my outfit.

Academy Awards 2012.... All hail the beautiful people

Oscar time again and as much as everyone gets excited at the prospect of bringing home an Oscar, what we all want to know is who's wearing what and who's looking hot and who's not!
There must be some part of them that being crowned best dressed should be an award in its own; I have to say some of my absolute favourites of the night were;

So this Sunday has been work, work, work! But I'm trying to start blogging again as my last post was something stupid like a year ago, but this time I'm going to persist as I read so many brilliant blogs and think I want to do that, so I am. Off to Yorkshire tomorrow part of an English Lit trip for Jane Eyre, maybe I'll find my own Mr.Rochester up there, but I doubt that very much.
