Free

I am now officially free from any sort of school work, for at least a week! Hurrah exams are OVER!!!! I am now dedicated to blogging everyday now and I'm going to start with an outfit post tomorrow, but first I want to share these beautiful, beautiful boots- they are to die for! I might treat myself as a well-done-for-getting-through-exams, bit naughty I know but oh well, why not!

Friday 25 May 2012

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for what feels like ages, I've been bogged down with exams and revision over the last two weeks and only have two more to go next week (thank God!!) and then I promise to blog almost everyday, as I will be free! I will also have loads of time to take some pictures for some much needed outfit post, as the last one literally was ages ago.

The weather has been lush here for the last few days (hopefully summer is arriving now!) and so with the weather brightening up here are some of the hottest high street picks to brighten up your wardrobe too:

New in at Topshop this gorgeous floral crop top, light pastel blue perfect for summer and crop tops and bralets are so hot this year!

Pink slingback slippers Topshop

Another Topshop item, but this dress is so cute!

I love this necklace from Asos

Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys this beautiful weather, mines full of revision!

You Shall Go To The Ball.....

A set of dresses the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella would be proud of- Yes the Met Ball 2012, has to be one of if not my favourite red carpet event. It pushes all the fashion boundaries and anything goes, the dresses are works of art and shows how incredible the designers are. It's the best of couture! It's an event when the dresses really so steal the show, would be my dream event to attend- work of geniuses.

Beyonce shows off her amazing post-baby bod in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci

MIA in Stella McCartney

Jourdan Dunn & Cara Delevigne both in Burberry Prorsum.

Cameron Diaz rocking in Stella McCartney

I love Leighton Meester and she looks stunning in Marchesa gown
Everyone's ultimate style icon; Alexa Chung in Marc Jacobs

 Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Burberry
Emma Stone wearing gorgeous red Lanvin gown which complements her red locks

Quickly becoming won of my favs Lily Collins in Valentino, sorry bit of a fangirl moment!

Mary-Kate Olsen wearing The Row
Sarah Jessica Parker in breathtaking Valentino gown

Rihanna, in leather crocodile print Tom Ford gown= exquisite

The belle of the ball Carey Mulligan in an outstanding custom made Prada, she is one very lucky lucky lady!!

There was so many more fabulous outfits, but the post would go on forever just to get them all down. The big trend this year seemed to be metallic in which they all shone- excuse the pun.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Hot On The High Street

Some of my favourite pieces from the high street this week:

Could be quite risky with this exceptional print, but if done right and quite simply would look fab.

Metallic Jacquard Hotpants; Topshop

Slippers; River island
Keeping with the metallic theme, there's something about this gold woven slippers that I just love; they remind me of something that Sarah Jessica Parker aka Carrie Bradshaw would wear especially in Sex and the City 2!

Cut-out printed scene dress: Miss selfridge

Absolutely love these shoes from: Office

Asos have so many amazing dresses in at the moment, I love this floral midi prom dress that would look so great for the races or any summer event with some of the gorgeous thin heeled sandals from Zara/Mango and it has a cut-out back just to give it that finishing piece de resistance.

Motel: Skinny pink palm tree jeans
These will be so great for summer- adore them!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend

Want

Ok, so this is the shortest post ever but I just had to post these beaut floral cigarette trousers that are new in at Topshop. I can't wait to get my hands on them, but unfortunately I have to wait until my exams are over before I can hit the shops:( (might have to do some sneaky online shopping, as I don't think I can wait two weeks!)

Here they are.....

I will do a full post tomorrow on what's hot on the highstreet/lust list. These trousers are just so perfect for summer and would look fab with a thin knit and shirt or just a plain top and over-sized clutch for a statement.

Hope everyone has a great Friday! My last official day as a year12, as we finish for study leave tomorrow- aaaargh exams! Rant over, have a fab day! And I can't forget reached 100 members, think it might be 101 now, but thank you so so much; here's to the next hundred!

Best And Worst Of The British Soap Awards....

So last Wednesday saw the annual event that I'm sure the soap stars can't wait to get out of their awful character clothes and step into a little more elegant and fabulous. This time of the year is like the Oscars of the soap world and while some of them got it oh so right, on the other hand there was some serious fashion disasters!

The Best:

Michelle Keegan won sexiest female and you can see why in this gorgeous midnight blue floor length asymmetric dress.

Eastenders' Jacqueline Jossa sparkles in this gold sequin dress,

Hollyoaks beauty Jennifer Metcalfe in Herve Leger.

Emerdale's Natalie Anderson might be having a baby but she still looks flawless even with the bump.

Hollyoaks' Lucy Dixon who was up for best newcomer looks stunning in this silk emerald gown complementary to her gorgeous red hair

Clair Cooper also opted for the floor length sequin look and dazzled too.
Coronation Streets' Brooke Vincent is very brave with extremely bright purple and very plunging neckline, reminds me a lot of Kylie Minogue's 'can't get you outta my head' video but some how I still strangely like it and she still looks fab!

The ones that got it so wrong:

Jessie Wallace looks oh so wrong in this unflattering sequined mini, which resembles something of a year 8 disco

Sorry but as far as I'm aware looking like a meringue isn't something you would want to take to the red carpet.

Word Dracula springs to mind?

Something's popping out this pillarbox red dress, which could lead to a serious wardrobe malfunction.

This LBD is a little bit too little to be worked on the red carpet, not so chic

Sorry I don't usually post about the worst dressed as there is always so much of it in magazines but the ones that got it right looked great but the others were on the other end of the scale.

I'm definitely going to try and get some outfit post done this week; especially as it's a week until the dreaded exams start which means I'm going to have hardly anytime to blog. So I will blog non-stop as soon as they're over.

Hope everyone enjoys there day off tomorrow (yay for bank holidays) and has a lovely lie-in, I know I will!

Pink Tuesday

Jumper: Primark, Faux leather paneled trousers: Topshop, Shoes: Topshop

Sorry about the lack of outfit posts recently, the weather has been absolutely atrocious constant rain rain and more rain! And England is in an apparent drought- really? So I haven't been able to find an opportunity when its not raining to get out and take some pictures, might have to resort to taking some inside.
Anyway I took this a while ago but didn't post it as none of the shots were very good, but now I'm thinking what the hell! I've had these pink loafers from Topshop since the end of summer last year. I love them but they have taken so long to break in and be comfortable without ripping my feet to shreds- I think I'm finally there now though!
Have a great rest of the week, I'm off to see the new American Pie tomorrow for my friends birthday.
Enjoy your Wednesday, Ksww xoxo- Stay Fabulous
