The Life Of A Princess......

Since Kate and Wills wed last year, the whole world has gone Kate crazy! I thought this would just be a phase before and a few weeks after the wedding of everyone admiring her, but it's a full on craze now. I do love Kate and I promised myself that I wouldn't join in on the whole craze, but it's so hard not to especially when she dresses amazing. So this post is a dedication of their first year of marriage, but also the Oscar worthy, 5star style! Here are my favourite, narrowed down to a top ten (there are just too many!)

Kate in Matthew Williamson, this dress is simple in cut and shape in the traditional style Kate usually wears but it oozes elegance with the jeweled neckline and cuffs= gorge!

Stunning lace Temperley dress

Beautiful pink dress by one Kate's favourite designers Issa

This gorgeous emerald green suit, with black belt just to cinch in her tiny waist and sophisticated black court shoes.

Dazzling in the best of the best Alexander McQueen

Sliver Grecian dress by Jenny Packham, looks like a fairy tale Princess.

Another of Jenny Packham's stunning designs.

Kate is also famous for her love of high street brand such as Reiss, Zara and LK Bennett and she ticks another high street brand box with these J brand jeans and ruffle shirt. Showing how she does casual best.

Jacket and dress by Katherine Hooker

And not forgetting........
This Alexander McQueen dress is phenomenal!!! I can't even.... when I first got a glimpse of this just WOW  is how I can describe it!

It's so hard to decided which is my favourite look of Kate's many style files, but I do really adore the rose pink sequined gown with Swarvoski crystals by Jenny Packham and the lace Temperley gown, I think they're my favs. Which one makes you think Wow I want that eveytime you see it?

Strappy Sandal

So a while back now I did a post on the new trend of very 'chunky' heels, but today I'm posting about the complete opposite and the return of the more delicate, elegant 'lady shoe' that is the thin strapped sandal! With a thin stiletto heel, ankle strap and front strap and slim sole, the perfect footwear for staying chic during the summer adding class to every outfit.

Best of the High Street thin strapped sandal:

Mango Sandals- these also from Mango come in a variety of two tone colours and a swede as well as plain leather

Topshop Skinny Sandal- These are also available in a two tone metallic version too.

All theses sandals are very similar in look and they all have fabulous colours for whatever your outfit. They are timeless shoes making a classic and essential piece for your wardrobe, and that means you won't feel so guilty about buying a pair (well that's my excuse anyway!)
Hope you have a fab weekend, you'll probably be doing something more interesting than me. I have work tomorrow and then a full day of revision on sunday- oh what joy

All Suited Up

Sorry I haven't done an outfit post in a while, I'm just so worried about exams at the moment!! And nothing seems to being going in no matter how much I revise:(
Anyway enough with the revision rant I love a good boucle jacket you just feels so chic wearing it, even if it's with jeans. I snapped up this treat on Asos as soon as the shorts went on sale, but unfortunately the jacket isn't in the sale too. It's a really bright orange, I don't think these photos quite show the luminosity of it- but its VERY bright, adding a pop of colour to every outfit and fitting nicely with the neon trend!
Have a great rest of your week everyone!-and sorry about the short post

Another Peplum Post.......

So, yesterday I posted and outfit post of my peplum top from Zara, but I thought I'd dedicate this to the vast amount of fab peplum's there are out there!

Peplum Tops:

Peplum Skirts:

Peplum dresses:

The more extravagant of the pelpum's it's a mini, has a plunging neckline and is very bright Aqua- ASOS

Adore this smart white peplum dress from Topshop it's so elegantly effortless, can definitely see why it's such a big hit!

This River Island printed peplum is really cute and especially now its £30 from £45

What do you think of the peplum trend, will you be wearing it this season?
Hope everyone has a fab weekend and does something nice, unlike me who's stuck revising all weekend and is my life until the end of may!

Peplum

Top: Zara  Jeans: River Island Boots: Topshop
Hi, everyone just doing a really quick post today I'm stressing out about exams now as the dreaded exam season is very quickly approaching!!
Anyway I really love the peplum trend now, first I wasn't too sure if it would suit me or if it's one of those trends that look amazing on the catwalk and then the high street wouldn't have many options. But really it's quite the opposite there is SO many fab peplum tops/skirts/dresses and they can really easily smarten up an outfit! I'm going to do a follow up post to peplums tomorrow, showing what the high street has to offer (which I know I've already said, but is a lot!)
Good news, its Friday tomorrow, only been back at school for four days, but am so ready for the weekend
TGIF!!!

Best Of The Bralets......

Bralets are bigger than ever this SS/12 and are the perfect accessory for your summer wardrobe giving the weather heats up actually who cares about the weather you can still rock the look and look hot even if the weather's not projecting the same heat!, here's just a selection of the ones I really liked:

Topshop:

The floral and printed bralets, look great with a maxi/dip-hem skirt or some high-waisted hot pants (channeling a 50's american girl look) for those summer festivals

River Island:

Miss Selfridge:

Asos:

The lace and more plainly printed bralets look super chic with some printed trousers or cigarette pants or a pair of bright pastel jeans teamed up with some killer heels, for the perfect day-to-night look!

I really love this trend, as even though at first I thought wooah how can these be versatile to make sure it's a good buy ( my new rule so I stop compulsive buying, is if I have at least three outfits I can wear it with, its good to buy!) but these are actually so versatile, whether it be with a printed pencil skirt teamed with heels and a leather jacket thrown over for a caj look, or a maxi skirt or jeans, they work!
 Conclusion= Good purchase!!

Mango SS/12 Introducing The Legend Kate Moss....

This years Mango SS collection is fierce, first of all they have the amazing Kate Moss as the face of the collection; making it a winner already! But even better they have some really fabulous clothes at very reasonable prices, to make great pieces for your summer wardrobe both casual day wear and then some brilliant items for those summer nights!

I actually really want all these pieces which range from £22.99- £74.99. These photos really don't do them justice, especially the dip-hem skirt which is a really gorgeous pastel pink- fading- into- pastel blue- colour. There's so many more great pieces, one that seems to have disappeared from the website is an amazing pink blazer and this metallic style t-shirt.

Shop all these looks at Mango

Which one will you be buying? I know what I'll be putting on my lust list (the blazer will deffo be one of them!)

Have a great Sunday! Hope Friday 13th wasn't too unlucky for anyone, I can't think that anything too unlucky happened to me, but I'm generally not the luckiest person anyway!

A Spray Of Gold

JumperH&M  Shorts: Glamorous Shoes: New Look

Really quick outfit post today, I purchased this metallic- tin man-esque jumper a few weeks ago and still can't decided if I completely like it. I love metallic's and the whole metallic trend, but I just feel with this jumper simplicity is best as it could look horribly wrong if over done, making you look like a Michelin man or auditioning for the part of tin man in the Wizard Of Oz.
Anyway I'm going to do a post on the new Mango collection tomorrow, as they have some really amazing items in and I love the campaign with the fab and the legend Kate Moss!

Have a great Thursday (almost the weekend!)

Cotton Candy

JumperZara Shirt: Topshop Skirt: Primark Shoes: Topshop

Hope everyone had an amazing Easter and stuffed themselves with chocolate that the Easter bunny brought. I'm one of those people who eat a Easter egg on actual Easter - really the only time when it's appropriate to eat chocolate for breakfast and not feel guilty and then have the rest of them until practically the next year!

Got this jumper from Zara on Good Friday and I love that it is a great pastel orange colour, so perfect for spring and has an open back which makes it feel appropriate to wear when the weather gets warmer too!
